Perfect summer gifts for dads

Finding the perfect gift for Dad shouldn’t be difficult at all, with summer upon us its time to order from far exotic places, but why on Earth would you want to?
Just give a little thought to what your Dad enjoys most, and narrow the search down to a few good options, remembering that most people, including fathers, love to get something they can actually use but will also amaze and delight their friends and/or peers.
You may not be aware that surveys show at least ten percent of fathers to have strong backyard chef leanings. Check out some of the barbeque grills and accessories out there on the web, like a Grillslinger for toting BBQ tools around on a ‘gunslinger’ belt, or the ultimate firestarter, a FireSteel flint keying for lighting fires under the grill or any time, anywhere.
If he’s really into the ‘chef’ role, try Weber’s Way to Grill, the cookbook nominated for the James Beard award this year.
Is your Dad one who still has old vinyl records or VCRs that he wouldn’t give up for the world. An iPod Dock USB or another similar product will let him transfer them all to a new and ‘far, far better place’, but you may have to show him how it works.
There is little doubt that most Dads these days are not as tech-oriented as their sons and daughters, but it’s a very rare Dad who doesn’t love a gadget, so try a quick search on the Internet for one that fits both your budget and your Dad’s lifestyle. Don’t just get him another tie!
