Most young children today wish they could be pop stars as famous as Miley Cyrus.  In fact, it is not uncommon to walk into a small girl’s room to find it coated in teen idols and an mp3 player in the corner that is loaded with a ton of teen idol music.

It is this fact that can make it hard to shop for a pre-teen, because it may seem as if they already have everything.  Even if you know the young girl in question quite well, it can still be very hard to find something that she really wants that she does not already have.

One thing you may consider is a musical instrument because it may be the young child’s dream to learn to play just like her teen idol.  In order to make this the most effective gift, make sure you give her an instrument that is the same as what her favourite pop star plays.

In addition, this type of gift also offers the chance for the young child to be creative allowing her the chance to be what she wants to be and with some encouragement may become a quite talented player which can help enrich her life.

Now despite the fact that you may have settled on a gift, you should still dress it up a bit with a few trinkets such as hot pink accessories that go with a guitar like guitar picks and even hot pink guitar straps.

Of course, you will not want to forget about adding guitar classes onto the list because the child is going to want to get on her instrument right away.
