Baby gift baskets
Baby gift baskets are generally themed, given the fact that they are one of the only gifts that you guarantee will have some type of ‘cute’ and ‘adorable’ element to them. Most of the time baby gift baskets offer toys, supplies, or clothes to new parents and have the ability to make even items such as a nappy storage unit look adorable.
Some common themes for baby gift items are articles that you may find in the child’s nursery such as a lullaby hanger above the crib, nursery rhyme CDs, baby clothes, baby furniture, or even a bed set for the crib. Educational toys that promote development of the child’s brain such as Baby Einstein toys are also great additions for a baby gift basket.
Most parents will also appreciate necessity items in their baby gift baskets as well because a new baby comes with a large bill. For example, rattles, bottles, feeding cups, bibs, dummies, and spoons are all great items to toss in the gift basket as accessories. Other items that are needed and appreciated by parents include baby bath products such as baby towels, brush and bath toys, baby powder, baby shampoo, and bubble bath.
To spice up the inside of your baby gift basket a bit, you might consider placing a few baby cakes or candies inside for the parents and a few adult gifts as well such as albums and photo frames if you want to avoid the baby area of shopping altogether and instead offer a treat to the new expecting parents.
